We're not trying to buy a yacht here, just keep the servers running and maybe afford some decent coffee.

SubStory ONLY shows images and videos - no text posts! It's built specifically for visual subreddits like r/pics, r/gifs, r/art, or r/earthporn. If a subreddit is mostly text posts, you won't see anything.

Text posts, no. Comments, yes! Swipe left on any post to open the full thread, where you can vote and reply without leaving your feed. Text-only posts stay filtered out—we're still here for the eye candy first.
